First Floor Funeral is a label which doesn't bother to limit its outputs to a certain genre. Much rather it’s giving a home to a feeling; a vibe; an atmosphere.
Clearly distancing from the increasingly normalized image of the label as a project director, First Floor Funeral Records likes to be heavily involved in its outputs, be that by directly participating in the creative process as artist members, as Recording-, Mixing- & Mastering-Engineers, as well as visual designers, support and involvement can be offered wherever requested.
However, due to this high level of commitment to each project, artist spots are scarce and only granted very rarely.
But once gained a spot, you’re savoring full devotion to having your project shine like it didn’t before.

Through being directly involved in the Artist Line-Up, the Label is driven by unique incentive to gain its audience.
Sound-Engineering & Mixing-Artistry
3FR-Artists are strongly involved in the Mixing-stages to craft an individual sound array, which gets polished to perfection during Mastering.
Visual Design
Any visuals that see the light of day, whether it's a LP/EP-Cover, a physical format Layout or a merch item, utilize a wide range of media to gain their final appearance.
3FR likes to seek help from outbound artists, but also doesn't shy to design their artist's visuals internally.
