Being naturally drawn to the crested & palatial theories of the medieval period — both visually & phonetically — and also being deeply rooted in the Dungeon Synth sphere, «From Whence Love Reigns» is the ultimate allegory of everything that imprints itself into Love Is’ memory with ease.
Billy Keen meticulously carved his niche; first firm feet were set through releasing various Dungeon Synth outlets under the alias Meadowhold, eventually leading to several editions as Love Is.
The works for the newest issue «From Whence Love Reigns» were finalized with a crystal clear vision in mind.
Intensively influenced by the visual identities of the pre-raphaelite movement of the 19th century, and Classicim & Black Metal cassette tape layouts, and an audible attraction to vintage recordings’ warmth all led to a thoroughly polished newest addition to Love Is’ discography.
